Message

I feel
pleasure to say few lines for
the college website. Kalra
College of Education, Udhampur
(J&K) was established in year
2000. As a matter of fact I have
seen this institution growing
through sun and shade during the
last one decade as the Chairman
of this premier non-governmental
institution. My suggestions for
healthy development of this
institution were always
perceived with full appreciation
from students as well as staff
of this institution.
The faculty members have always
joined their hands and heads to
carry torch of light to lofty
heights of excellence. I feel
delighted to see the results of
these efforts to make this
institution a model place of
high learning. I am very
optimist about future
development of the institution
as a centre of excellence.
The college principal and staff
deserve applause for their
sincere & concerted efforts to
uphold their high traditions of
laudable results in professional
pupil-teachers training. I
extend my warm greetings &
felicitations to the Principal,
staff and the students in their
future endeavor.

Principal's Message |
In the
present era, education is not
mere formal teaching learning
process and awarding of degrees,
but it is bestowed with
responsibility of transforming
the overall personality of the
students. The students are
future of the society. so the
objective of imparting quality education is to bring
out well oriented, committed and
dedicated youth who can take up
the future responsibilities in
various sectors particularly in
education in most effective and
efficient manner.
I feel highly elated and
overwhelmed in welcoming new
aspirants to Kalra College of
Education Udhampur. Since last
one decade our college is
striving untiringly to make this
place a symbol of intellectual
and spiritual enlightenment. We
have been making all efforts to
inculcate within our pupil
teachers, the spirit of
excellence in the field of
education. In this back drop
this educational institution is
providing avenues and
opportunities for creating
heart. Kalra College of
Education Udhampur is churring
out the students who can rub
their shoulders with the best
students of this country. Our
earnest endeavor is to devote
our resources in role modeling
the pupil teachers in such a
way, that they can forge-ahead
in this new scenario for the
socio-economic development with
gusto and perfection.
In the persistent pursuit of
objectives we anticipate
ceaseless and healthy
cooperation of all the students
and staff of this institution to
